The standard outfit comprises of a fixed ring type of consolidometer cell for a testing specimen of 60 mm dia X 20 mm thick, but the unit is so designed that specimen of varying sizes from 50 mm dia to 100 mm dia can also be tested.

FEATURES

Other accessories are optional:

  • The Loading Frame is made of cast aluminium alloy and provides a high degree of precision even under load. The frame is designed to load a lever arm assembly and one of three alternative loading ratios as 9: 1, 10: 1 and 11: 1. The lever is equipped with a counterweight and lever support. The cell platform is able to receive the consolidation cells and is equipped with a centering bed to ensure that the cell is properly centered under load.
  • Consolidation Cells are made of corrosion-resistant material and in accordance with the requirements of the relevant standards. All Cells are given with Lower and Upper Porous Stones, Pressure Pad, and Cutting (Sample) Ring. Any Cell Set listed below can be selected.
  • It can be used with any kind of Comparator Clock and Weight Sets listed below.
  • Apparatus for preparing the Consolidation Sample and Calibration Disc must be ordered separately.
